Employee wellbeing and productivity
COORDINARE conducted a six-month trial of the four-day week, which we referred to as the Gift of the Fifth (GOTF). It was an optional benefit for COORDINARE employees, aiming to improve wellbeing, engagement, and productivity.
Our goal was to provide opportunities to improve work-life balance, promote healthy choices, and support resilient communities. The trial was a success with post-trial survey results showing:
- 14% increase in employee wellbeing
- 5% reduction in stress
- productivity (self-reported and supervisor rated) increasing by 7% and 8% respectively.
